Lemon Film Studio

Some time ago we’ve launched a new website for one of the major polish video producers. Lemon Film Studio mainly specializes in producing commercials, but they’re also doing documentary films production. We’ve created a WordPress based website to showcase their work. The site has ascetic and minimal feel to it, with biggest focus on the videos.

Some time age we’ve designed and developed a flash based site for local accountant office. We’ve chosen a humorous approach and depicted the office as typical as you can possible imagine – starting with vintage Pentium II pc and ending on the usual cup of coffee. Thankfully the client gave us total creative freedom, and he was very happy with the result in the end. The site is build with Flash, and it’s incorporating some sweet features like SWFAddress and Google Maps for Flash API. You can check the live version at http://rachmaj.pl

Papaya-Films.com

We’ve just launched new site for Papaya Films – one of the major polish video production companies.
The website we’ve made is a very minimalistic, sleek and usable. There’s a nice WordPress based engine under the hood – which enables to showcase articles, images and video.

Since it’s a video production company – the ability to showcase great, HD quality videos was a must. We’ve prepared a custom video player in Flash, which is capable of showing full screen HD videos.

We’ve also prepared a special version of the site for the iPhone. The layout is modified for easier viewing and the video is supported by build-in QuickTime player rather than our Flash player.

TradingVans.co.uk

We’ve created another cool web design which is heavily based on the illustration.
It’s for site called TradingVans.co.uk which is a site where you can trade your van (as you might already have guessed).
The client gave us a total creative freedom (yes – there still such great people around;).
The result is a eye-catching, easy to use and funny design.

If you would like to know how was the process of creating the design and the monkey character – keep reading;).

First – we figure out the phrase “it’s not a monkey business” together with the client.
That give us a idea who the character might be – a monkey.
Since we wanted the design to be funny – our choice was the chimp (as in my humble opinion – those are the funniest monkey of all kind;).

We thought it’ll suite (and make the chip even more funny) if he’ll wear a “salesman uniform” – that is blue shirt and tie.

Than we’ve added the colors and shading

The client was given the draft – he liked it and we proceed with the design itself.

Since the whole idea was build around the monkey character – it felt good to have a banana in the logo

Griffons Akademia Pomorska Słupsk

Time for harsh, manly design.
BlackMoon team recently created a logotype and layout for American Football team of one of Polish univeristies.
Guys at Griffons Akademia Pomorska Słupsk are tough as rocks – and they asked nothing less from their website.
So – we were given a challenge to show mud, sweat and blood on the design – and we love the final result.

Steamy design for Senya Studio

I’ve made the layout for Senya Studio (which is our fellow coding&programming company, lead by Dante).

The idea for the design was simple – “Steampunk”. (If you’re not familiar what the steampunk is – in general it’s a mixture of sci-fi in victorian age).
I’m very happy with the end effect, which is strong, creative layout that matches the given theme 100%.

Here’s new webdesign by yours truly (made as a WP based website by Dante from SenyaStudios).

It’s for garden irrigation (and well digging) company from Poznan name Irriplan.
People from Irriplan were extremaly open-minded and they left me huge creative freedom.
I’m very happy with the result of the work – the whole layout was build upon “ground layers” concept and funny, cartoon graphics.

I’ve made another layout design I would like to show to you.
This time it’s a company which offers voip (voice over ip) services.

I’ve tried to create a illustion of depth with this design – I guess it kinda worked out.
I’m really happy with the project – the client was very content both with the design and WordPress theme that Dante from SenyaStudios has created for them.
