40 years ago smoking wasn’t bad – or at least commercials shown it this way. From today’s point of view those ads are simply ridiculous – but in 60s and 70s they were creating the reality.
Besides huge negative impact that goes with somking – those ads have a very nice, retro feel.
Ok – so let’s go with those:
Smoking is good for you – and here is the proof for it.




Besides – your Doctor is smoking too, so it’s not that bad, right?



The most important part – smoking makes you sexy
Besides – Santa and your dog smoke as well
And as a final point – smoking makes you slim

I love these old cigarette adverts. The Camels Fathers day advert is my favourite…. and the ‘Should a gentlemen offer a Tiparillo to a violinist?’ Just brilliant, It’s incredible that they ever got away with that!!
